BIOGRAPHY: Rafael Ximenez born in Madrid and Mikio from Tokyo are the DJ Team PLASTIK FUNK. Together the two DJs, who are now living in Duesseldorf, Germany, form an important part of worldwide nightlife. San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Hawaii, Zurich, Ibiza, Mallorca, Barcelona, Prague, Vienna, Tokyo are just some of the places which they have already enchanted with their sound. They have performed in all major events in Germany (Mayday, Sensation White, Loveparade) Touring abroad and bringing their sound to all continents of the world has been their mission since 2002. In the summer, they are residents of the legendary Space Ibiza party „Cafe Ole“ and „Republik at Space“ on the Space Terrace.

2011 has seen very successful for them single wise, with their remake of „C&C Music Factory – Everybody Dance Now“ taking the German sales charts by storm. More singles coming on Tiger Records, CR2, Hotfingers, Stealth, Housesession, Ministry of Sound and many more. Collaborations with their buddies Sergio Flores, Stefano Noferini, Paul Gardner, Blue & Deep, Gabriel & Castellon and Dave Kurtis are on their way to being released, too!
